第7回盛岡市アイスリンクメモリアルカップ（男子の部）は、規定数を超える申し込みを頂戴しました。選考委員会での選考を経て、8チームを選考しました。8チームに到達しましたので、参加チームにはWCTポイントが付与されます。
女子の部の開催につきましては、公表前に各チームに連絡を差し上げましたが、規定数に到達しなかったため、開催を見合わせることとしました。
新型コロナウイルス感染症に関しましては五類相当へ移行しましたが、ウイルス自身が法律を遵守するわけではありません。昨今の岩手県内の感染症流行状況に関しましては、インフルエンザ、COVID-19共に感染者は増加している状況です。そのため、開会式やレセプションの開催、休憩室や昼食の提供は行いません。
昨年までは制限を加えておりましたが、今大会より有観客開催を再開します。
当日は隣接施設においてもイベントが計画されているため、駐車場およびアプローチ方法に注意が必要です。

The 7th Morioka City Ice Rink Memorial Cup (Men’s Division) received more applications than the stipulated number. Eight teams were selected by the selection committee, and now that eight teams have been selected, participating teams will be awarded WCT points.
The women’s division was contacted by the teams prior to publication, but as the stipulated number of teams had not been reached, it was decided not to hold the women’s event.
Although new coronavirus infections have been moved to category 5, the virus itself does not comply with the law. The recent outbreak of infectious diseases in Iwate Prefecture has seen an increase in the number of people infected with both influenza and COVID-19. For this reason, the opening ceremony and reception will not take place, nor will rest rooms or lunch be provided.
The tournament will resume its spectator-led format from this year, after having been restricted up until last year.
As there are also events planned at adjacent facilities on the day, attention should be paid to parking and approach methods.
